How Yumeko’s Open Organic Cotton Chain is leading the way to sustainability

It’s a dream we’ve been set on making come true since 2010, developing sustainable bed linen and bath textiles that have a positive impact on people, animals and the planet. Now, we’ve entered the next major phase of that journey: our Open Organic Cotton Chain. An initiative that lets us share our expertise and knowledge of sustainable supply chains with other brands, so that we can create a better world together.
Our first collaboration in our Open Organic Cotton Chain – with none other than the international pushchair brand Joolz – is a match made in heaven. Together, we have developed a collection of pushchair sheets and baby comfort blankets made of ultrasoft, organic, non-toxic cotton. With the collection now available in 50 countries, parents around the globe can wrap up their little ones in the softest and most planet-friendly materials.
Why an Open Organic Cotton Chain?
Finding sustainable, certified suppliers and producers is a time-consuming and sometimes complex process. We’ve been there, done that – it’s been our core business since day one. So, we decided to share our experience with the world. Our Open Organic Cotton Chain was set up to provide full transparency not only on materials and supply chains, but also prices, margins, processes and decision-making.
